Of all Skredsvig's paintings, this one, without a doubt, is the best known. Painted in 1889, it was based on a poem "Tonen" by Bjornstjerne Bjornson. The boy who stood as a model for the picture was at one time a farmhand at Fleskum. Skredsvig took 14 days to paint this picture. Acrylic finish gives the painting a textured feel and look of an original oil painting and UV protection. No glass. Info card and poem included. Allow 2-3 weeks for delivery on framed picture.
